Anomaly String in La Pine, OR

ForWarn detected a string of departure anomalies in La Pine, Oregon. The four anomalies are arranged linearly from southwest to northeast. A few of the anomalies are along the river; two in the upper right are within ponderosa pine and the one in the southwest corner is mixed conifer. These declines are suspected to be attributed to drought induced departure. The middle anomaly is due to post harvest forest regeneration considering the 2001 data in silviculture treatments.
